5.9 Change step in route as data corrector
1 Introduction
It is possible for a Data Corrector to move a form to any step. The form is then placed directly in the selected step, without following the intermediate route.
Ideally, you’ll never need this, but you can use it for forms that have stalled due to an incorrectly set route.
2 Methods
Once you are logged in as a Data Corrector, open the form you want to modify.
In the “More” menu, choose “Show route.” In the popup with the route, click the button at the top right: “Change current step.” You will then get a new popup.
Select the desired step from the dropdown. For example, we choose the first step after start (“Approval”).
If you confirm this choice by clicking the “Change Current Step” button, you can see that the form is now in the selected step.
If “Show History” is turned on for this form, it will also show there.
3 Points of attention and tips
This is an emergency solution, so always solve the cause by adjusting the route so that this cannot happen again.
