The use of LeanForms within NOVO Packaging & Warehousing

A proliferation of internal paper forms made it increasingly difficult and time-consuming to process them. You could no longer see through the forms, so to speak.

NOVO has been working with LeanForms for about 5 years now, and they have since integrated LeanForms into several processes.

For example, digital forms are used for production registrations, among other things. These registrations have multiple purposes. They are used to report things finished in the system, to book them or to inform customers. In addition, they can register the production output per day and thus see whether the targets have been met.

Benny also sees many opportunities to further leverage and integrate data from the LeanForms application. They are already using dashboards in Excel, where calculations can be made based on data imported from LeanForms.

Linking to Power BI is on the wish list.

  • Save time

With LeanForms' digital forms, you save at least 30% time. All information is recorded centrally, reducing manual work and speeding up data processing. Thanks to automatic input and smart workflows, you work more efficiently and error-free.
  • Higher quality information

Built-in checks and validations ensure that data are always correct and complete. This minimizes errors by at least 50% and improves the reliability of reports.
  • Automation of work and business processes

Integrating digital forms into workflow management automates work and business processes. Tasks are automatically assigned, data instantly processed and workflows efficiently controlled.
  • Easily create reports

All captured data is automatically converted into clear reports, giving you instant insight into the status and progress of processes. These reports can be easily exported, shared with colleagues or visually displayed in interactive dashboards for clear decision making.
  • Rapid implementation

Thanks to the intuitive interface and ready-to-use templates, you can get started right away. No long implementation processes or complicated IT modifications required. LeanForms can be used both in the cloud and locally (on premise).
  • Support for achieving ISO certification

Easily meet quality requirements and regulations by recording data in a structured and transparent way. This helps with audits and certification processes.

Benefits of working with LeanForms within NOVO Packaging & Warehousing

A big advantage for NOVO is that the data coming from production records can be easily filtered and used for many things.

In addition, digitizing paper flows also gives many advantages. Too many things used to be handled manually.

As an example, Benny mentions a simple form they use for internal location changes of products. On this form you can enter what product it is, where it is packed, what the new location is, and add a photo. The back office receives an e-mail with this information, so they have a clear picture of the change and can process it in the system.

Previously, this was done with paper bills. It is now also much easier to find changes, a report of this is generated daily.
