Falcker focuses on inspections in industry for different types of facilities, such as storage tanks, pipelines and jetties. Falcker provides the customer with insight into the reliability of the assets. All inspections are recorded in a digital portal. This allows the customer to check for themselves whether the implemented modifications have been properly implemented or whether additional maintenance is needed.
Falcker specializes in visual inspections and has replaced traditional inspectors with drones and software. This allows customers to better ensure the integrity of their facilities and to gain quicker insight into an asset’s conditional status during external audits by, for example, the competent authority, which contributes to increased confidence. Falcker’s entire workflow makes the inspection process more efficient and time-saving.
Using LeanForms in managing drone operations
One of the applications Falcker uses LeanForms for is managing drone operations.
From internal procedures and drone laws and regulations, they want to be in control of their activities and the resources used to accomplish them. This requires them to maintain necessary information such as flight locations, emergency procedures and contact with air traffic control. In addition, they must document who the pilot is, the number of flights, flight duration and whether a risk analysis has been performed. All of these things are recorded centrally in various forms within LeanForms.
From digital to professional with LeanForms
Falcker had been working with simple digital forms before they started using LeanForms. These forms were static, there was no consistency and they lacked an overall picture. Moreover, due to major changes in (European) legislation, there was a need for more extensive registration of activities.
From this point of view, Falcker decided to take a more professional approach and use LeanForms for this purpose.

Other applications of LeanForms at Falcker
In addition to forms for drone inspections, LeanForms is widely used at Falcker.
Falcker has several materials that need to be inspected according to NEN standards and these need to be tracked. To streamline this process, they use a specially developed form within LeanForms.
Another application is staff sign-in. Staff regularly go to different areas and have to log on to each area. Sometimes these log-ins expire and have to be reactivated. With LeanForms, Falcker can make these log-ins more efficient.
Another clever feature at Falcker is automating digital reporting from an inspection form. An example is the measurement of gas formation above a tank using a drone equipped with a gas sensor. Previously, these records were done on paper, but now they can quickly and easily process them in LeanForms and turn them into a report immediately.
