Simple solutions for optimal efficiency
Fluorortubing: high quality tubes and hoses
Fluortubing specializes in the production of high-quality pipes and hoses made from fluoropolymer materials. The range includes various diameters for a variety of applications ranging from pharmaceuticals and chemicals to process heat transfer. They offer a wide range of customer-specific solutions.
Optimization of quality management
Fluortubing started with a standard quality system that was not fully customizable, so the company had to adapt to the system. This hindered flexibility and did not fit their needs. LeanForms offered a solution that was simple and customizable. Employees could effortlessly fill out forms and add information, and the ISO standard could be secured without unnecessary complexity.
Digitization of ISO processes as a starting point
Fluortubing rolled out all forms from their former quality system into LeanForms to secure ISO standards, then used this base point to continue digitizing various information flows. LeanForms enabled them to gradually digitize more processes.
Independent construction of forms
Fluortubing sees the self-contained construction of forms and dashboards as a major advantage of LeanForms. It differentiates itself from more complex systems, such as SAP, by making significant progress with minimal consulting effort. This not only brought efficiency within the Dutch plant, but also led to the expansion of LeanForms to their plant in America.
International implementation
In America, all quality-related processes were digitized, resulting in a successful ISO audit. The flexibility of LeanForms was a plus, as the system could be effortlessly adapted to different cultures and languages, and this also facilitated certification.

Efficiency and structure in processes
LeanForms is widely used at Fluortubing. For example, the time-consuming and error-prone handover process between shifts was simplified by replacing emails with smart digital forms. This not only saved time but also improved information transfer between colleagues. Previously, there were spelling errors, different layouts and the occasional forgetting to include people in the e-mail exchange. Now the process is structured, so the information reaches the different colleagues much better.
A comprehensive form was implemented for quality deviations. This form describes the deviations as well as the analyses and solutions of these deviations.
The form is provided with calculation examples and linked to databases. In a dashboard, this allows them to see, for example, the cost per deviation.

Multi-purpose applications
For complaint reports, photos are integrated into the forms. This visual approach makes it easy for all involved to understand and resolve complaints. Another application used by Fluortubing is the ability to use questionnaires in both Dutch and English, making communication with English-speaking customers much easier.
“It is easy to use Dutch-language questionnaires with an English-language template behind them. The completed values are the same in both languages, regardless of the language of the questions. This greatly simplifies the input, while maintaining the desired output.”
Links
Several forms are linked with each other at Fluortubing. For example, the deviation report is linked to the transfer form. This creates a complete overview and makes connections easier to make.
They will also soon be linking a new variant of their ERP system to LeanForms. This link will enable the combination of data in one database which is expected to bring a lot of efficiency.
