Tinne van der Spoel
Tinne van der Spoel has been a member of the LeanForms development team since July 2026. His interest in technology began at a young age and has been a common thread throughout his education and career.
After completing his education, he gained several years of experience as a software developer. In addition, he continued to expand his knowledge through courses and his own software projects.

Research, Choose, and Build
For Tinne, software development is a combination of logical thinking and creativity. He analyzes what’s needed, makes technical decisions, and determines which tools are best suited for the job. Then comes the part he enjoys most: building.
At LeanForms, he works on developing new features and improving existing solutions and processes. He also investigates where errors or bottlenecks occur. He enjoys taking an idea and developing it step by step into something tangible that people actually use and that adds noticeable value.
Clear and direct
Tinne values clear and direct communication, so that everyone knows where they stand thanks to clear agreements, expectations, and guidelines.
He is also engaged and curious about the people around him. He enjoys learning what motivates others and loves hearing about their unique interests, hobbies, and collections. As he himself says, “I always make time for questions or compliments.”
From 3D printing to smart homes
Even outside of work, Tinne enjoys building and exploring. Using his 3D printer, he creates his own mementos inspired by his favorite movies, TV shows, and video games, which he then paints and finishes himself. He also builds media and gaming PCs, modifies game consoles, and automates his home with smart home devices.
For relaxation, he plays board and video games, goes for walks, runs, and does strength training. He loves nothing more than recharging his batteries at a cabin in a Belgian forest. And with four subwoofers, he likes to turn the music up pretty loud at home.
