Lean
What is Lean?
The Lean philosophy is a way of thinking and working in which all processes in an organization are focused on creating maximum value for the customer. Eliminating unnecessary steps and waste creates a more efficient and smarter way of working.
The origin of this approach lies in the Japanese auto industry, but the method has since been successfully applied in sectors such as manufacturing, services and construction. There are five steps that help organizations improve continuously: determine value, map the value stream, ensure a smooth flow (flow), work based on demand (pull) and strive for perfection.
Benefits of customer-centric process improvement
An organization that works with this philosophy actively focuses on optimizing everything the customer cares about, such as price, quality, delivery time or reliability. This leads not only to higher customer satisfaction, but also to motivated employees who actively think about improvements on a daily basis.
LeanForms aligns seamlessly with this approach and helps organizations easily digitize and improve processes using smart digital forms and workflow management.
